Pomegranate NS08
With Pomegranate NS08, our goal was to get people talking about Nova Scotia
as a great place to live, work and do business. Advertising as we knew it was not
the answer. We needed an idea that would go beyond the traditional boundaries of
media, geography, budget. An idea that would surprise the audience and move
them to talk about it, share it, spread it. An idea that could take Nova Scotia where
it had never gone before in people's minds.
Creating a faux brand and designing a product that does not exist in addition to
a compelling website experience for people to interact with while being worthy
enough to share with others was challenging but certainly worth the effort.
An idea that was born in a far less robust social media world than the one we live
in today and without support from any traditional media - people were reached (many
millions of people), they discovered the Pomegranate NS08 and Nova Scotia.
